Got it checked and it was the Hard-Drive, so I'll get a new one. If I make a Windows 8 install disc on my Windows 7 laptop (Which is uncertified) can I get Windows 8 uncertified?

As in, I had to reinstall windows on this, but I lost my product key. Same with my desktop. So I've bought Windows 7 and 8, but this computer has Windows doesn't have a key attached to it.

If you already activated Windows 10 on that machine, then you won't need a product key as Windows 10 uses a digital entitlement to activate your version of Windows. Just reinstall Windows 10 using your Windows 10 DVD/USB flash drive and after the install finishes, Windows 10 will automatically activate for you.

Even if it's a new, never used Harddrive, and I decided to go with 8 (Which has been on it) because it's a older computer, and updating it might have caused the problem.

Well, it seems Windows 10 was the problem. And the reason the hard drive failed. If I got a newer hard drive would it be okay to get windows 10?

Your specs are sufficient, and as mentioned, you shouldn't have any problems reinstalling Windows 10 on a new HDD with digital entitlement/license (you don't need to do any special activation, it's automatic).

It's fixed! And running perfectly. And I did Win. 8 to be safe. But it's running perfectly. Thanks for the help guys!
And yes, it was automatically authorized.
