Yes, but i can try again if you want. The first time i unplugged th modem and stuck that in by mistake then i plugged it in right, but i can retry

I dont understand why my old comp connects but this one wont. It cant be the cable since it works in the old comp, . It plugs in right next to the mouse and keyboard plug in right?

Unplug from old computer
plug into new computer
reboot new computer
Test internet.

If no good
Shutdown computer
Unplug power to modem
Wait 30 sec
Turn modem back on
When light on modem shows internet - go green
Can take 5 mins
Start pc after it is connected
Test
