A couple more questions before i try and get this running tonight. The keyboard doesnt have any lights like mine does. No green light for the num, caps or scroll key. How do i even know if the keyboard is working? My keyboard now has a round connection and this one is square so it wont fit. I bought one at walamrt and the woman said it will fit my comp. It has lights. Can i use the walmart one instead. Also, there isnt a light for the monitor. How do i know if it is working? Also, there is no diagram provided. Which button turns it on or off? It has to be on when i start the comp., And, i might have forgotten but does it ask me to set up the anti-virus when i turn it on and it loads, and i should say no?Comment

Keep the packaging for the walmart one - you may be able to return it.
You really should have asked first.-Save money.
If the one that came with the computer does not have lights we could have got an adapter for your old one for about $2.00

Do not stress about it.
If it pops up and ask you to run it say no.
Do you have your log in details - username and password written down for PCHelp forum ( Do NOT Post them here) so you can log in on the new computerComment

It depends on how it was setup by HP

If it makes you more secure, to start with you can plug both keyboards into any of the front usb ports.
YES you can have 2 keyboards connected at once.
When all is being moved to final place then connect the keyboard you want.
Speakers can wait until new comp is in itβs final place.
Not needed for setup.
If you like the feel of your old keyboard you can look local for on of these.
