My guess is 1/2 to 1 hour.
I know one person who says he can reload in 10mins but it all depends on the computer itself.
Is 14 years old for a computer? I will just be happy when i will no longer be getting β€œcant connect because your browser is not updated” messages. And the problems with logging in, and the constant messages saying a script is slowing things down, and on and on, lol

A couple more questions before i try and get this running tonight. The keyboard doesnt have any lights like mine does. No green light for the num, caps or scroll key. How do i even know if the keyboard is working? My keyboard now has a round connection and this one is square so it wont fit. I bought one at walamrt and the woman said it will fit my comp. It has lights. Can i use the walmart one instead. Also, there isnt a light for the monitor. How do i know if it is working? Also, there is no diagram provided. Which button turns it on or off? It has to be on when i start the comp., And, i might have forgotten but does it ask me to set up the anti-virus when i turn it on and it loads, and i should say no?

It could have lights you just might see them until the power is on.
Keep the packaging for the walmart one - you may be able to return it.
You really should have asked first.-Save money.
If the one that came with the computer does not have lights we could have got an adapter for your old one for about $2.00

It depends on how it was setup by HP
            Do not stress about it.
If it pops up and ask you to run it say no.

I just received a computer - Not as much ram as yours and windows 10
              so yours should be faster.
Unbox - connect network monitor keyboard mouse and power on
              Loads windows 10
              18mins

So i should use the keyboard that came with the comp? I guess im worried because what if the comp starts to load but the keyboard isnt working and i have no idea because of no lights. Also, will i need the speakers to be working. Finally, all i need to be plugged in is the monitor and comp, ? right? The speakers and modem are already plugged in. Anything else i need to know? all thats left is to plug the comp in the surge pro and transfer the ethernet cable. im going to go ahead and plug that in when i turn the new comp on and use my phone if i need you.

I set up a little temp mini table for the new monitor and keyboard right next to the other table. It will be cramped, lol

You are causing yourself more worry then needed.
If it makes you more secure, to start with you can plug both keyboards into any of the front usb ports.
YES you can have 2 keyboards connected at once.
When all is being moved to final place then connect the keyboard you want.
Speakers can wait until new comp is in it’s final place.
                      Not needed for setup.
If you like the feel of your old keyboard you can look local for on of these.
