I can not give you that answer truthfully. I am only able to tell you that the bsod is most likely caused by the ram.
No one, I live in like Amish country and there's no one around that would even understand the question. And my friends don't live close enough to help.anyone you know that you can borrow some memory off just few a couple of days to test the theory?
any compatible memory from a friend or family member or work PC or even a neighbour?
Actually small update, I was able to get used G.SKILL 16GB Ripjaws V Series DDR4 2400MHz ram for like $35 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/224863472247). So in a few days I'll be able to see further into what's up.at an impasse until different memory can be used to aid further troubleshooting.
may be time to take it to a PC shop, they'll have memory lying around, and can try different sticks.
they should also have pre-owned sticks from past upgrades they have done.
Ok, so I just received the new RAM today and installed it. Everything was running smoothly, so I started up a game. I had steam installing TF2 in the background, and the game running in the foreground. I left the computer to make dinner, when I came back, the game had closed itself out, but steam was still installing. I started the game up again and it froze the entire computer this time... Then as it was frozen, I got a BSOD of MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION. Says it is driver and software based BSOD.excellent.
keep us posted.
I'll give that a try when I can, question though, is there something I should be doing that will test the computer? Or should I just do what I've been doing of running games and letting it idle to see if anything happens?open cmd prompt
copy and paste DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth Press enter
When finished sfc /scannow Press Enter
Ok so I didn't have an active windows 10 key. I got a Windows 10 Pro key and decided to start fresh and do a clean install of windows. Only problem is while installing windows, I keep getting a BSOD System_Service_Exception regarding the win32kbase.sys. So I'm never able to finish the install...The only test you should really need is ram test - but taking a stick at a time is quicker
and better in my opinion
That worked perfectly! I would have never have guessed any of that. I couldn't find anything online either.****NB this will wipe all data from the drive****
Boot from Win 10 install usb
When you get to the startup screen (pic attached)
Press Shift + F10 key
you should get a X:> prompt
What is in blue you type in red you do
e.g Enter press enter key
Diskpart enter
list disk enter
Select disk n enter (n=the disk you wish to convert)
clean enter
convert gpt enter
exit enter
exit enter
can you continue with the install now ?

I was able to install everything and the updates for the computer. I'm not having BSOD but I am having screen issues. For some reason the screen will freeze completely. I will have no mouse or keyboard input and in order to regain anything, I have to do a hard shutdown and restart.Let's see what happens now
So I attached my Speccy report, I think that's what you wanted. I also looked for chipset drivers for the i3-9100F. I could not find any, and I even tried downloading Intel® Driver & Support Assistant but it told me there was nothing to update. I uninstalled it immediately afterwards. I'm not sure why Speccy is showing the RAM as unknown or at 1066MHz.Did you install the chipset drivers
