Not 100% certain tbh but possibly the PDF reader in Edge is the connection.

Sorry for the slow reply.. Still working on the other suggested things. What is this about the PDF reader?

        No worries, been busy myself

Earlier versions of Windows and IE browser could not open PDF files whereas Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 can, as said not certain but perhaps the PDF reader is taken from Microsoft Office.

Sorry but not sure what you mean it is that needs fixing.

Had a major disaster with one of my own computers and with work and family commitments etc I`m only just getting it sorted now

I hope i can find a work around for voo doo shield. Also MS edge is a no go,the wife refuses to use any other browser. Other than having to re learn how to get in to safe mode on Win 10,no problems. Avast ,Mbam and experience for the gt 610 ,voo doo are gone .

Edit: WIn defender up and running

Would see how it goes for a while and then try the latest version of VS and see how it goes.

Ok yeah been researching the latest on voodoo,to see what issues it has with win 10. Will try the AIO/tweaking tool soon.

In view of the problems that I have had with Windows 10 this past week I`d not be surprised if it was the cause of your problems as well.

Ok just about 10 mins ago,had another restart. This time without actually powering down, could be that i was still moving the mouse around. So this makes me wondering about sleep mode in win 10!

Yep went into and while i thought i had this pc under sleep mode must have been thinking of the other one, anyway the only thing in sleep mode was the monitor. So i really need to find time to do that tweaking tool fix.

Honest answer is that without being able to have the computer to yourself for the day you are fighting an uphill battle
