      Which would normally suggest overheating.

No problem, fully understand, it`s not like your one of the persistent offenders on the forum who we constantly have to ask for an update from

When was the last hard shut down that you had, seeing a couple of potential conflicting programs dated 09/01/18 but nothing suggesting a crash.

Not showing any loss of power in MTB unless Im missing it (got a heavy cold atm so not myself )

Problems with MBAM, Voodoo Shield, MS Edge, explorer and Nvidea.

You have Chrome installed, can I ask what is set as your default browser, don`t like Edge myself and disable it after every upgrade.

Create a new folder on your desktop called GT 610 drivers then manually download from here just the graphics drivers and nothing else.

Being that you have Windows 10 I would suggest you create a new restore point, uninstall Avast, MBAM and Voodoo Shield using any correct uninstall tools, once done allow Defender to fully update and scan your computer, use the computer as you normally would and see how it behaves then post back with an update.

Avastclear I Make sure it removes the SafeZone browser as well, I used Avast for years but imo they have sold out by offering driver updates and system tweaking tools

                      MBAM clean removal tool

DDU graphics driver uninstaller Uninstall all of the present Nvidea software, restart in Safe Mode only (no networking) install the new drivers that you saved, restart the comp and test.

Windows explorer we will come back to if we need to.

Yeah just getting over a 4 day stint of some messed up flu bug..
Don’t use edge as my main browsers, but my wife does. I use Chrome and Opera. No problems with MBAM and or voodoo or hitman. Nvidia has not been a problem, but Nvidia experience is suppose to be un-installed. Been wary about using Avast again but i have not had any issues with Avast. To clear this up a bit also, this restart issue has been going on for some time but it was so infrequent it didn’t bother me much. Then the restarts picked up and i turned on MS updates again and got the new updates for this version of win 10,so i am not sure if this has anything to do about the current restart issue. On these other things,it will be a process since i have more than one person using this pc. One of the reasons i have not done the tweaking tool yet since it is time intensive with it’s scan.

Your MTB log suggests otherwise, did you happen to check the Event Viewer at the time of the last hard shut down.

Ideally you need the computer to yourself for the day as you have no chance of isolating the cause/s of the problems if folk are using the computer while you are trying to troubleshoot.

Like i said it has been doing this restart before and i didn’t have hitman pro installed then after this license runs out will never again. Mbam has been on here the longest.
