Ok..this morning while my wife was on her profile, she got a blue windows notification. (Windows had an unexpected error) attempting to fix it and at 75% the pc restarted. The pc was just on about a hour and a half. My wife was just checking FB and then was fixing to play a game when this happened.

Apologies for the delay getting back to you, extended festivities into the evening :coffee:

A few problems going on there by the looks of things, Windows, internet etc.

Two thing at the top of the event logs, one says that a crash dmp is available, can you upload that for us, the other was a Customer Experience Improvement Program problem, have you signed up for this, if not, make sure that it is turned off in Settings, type Customer Experience Improvement Program in the Windows 10 search field, when Change Customer Experience Improvement Program Settings comes up, click on it to open, make sure that it has the yes or no option that you want, if you change it from yes to no please make sure that you also click on the save tab as well.

Did you get a chance to check the HDD with CrystalDisk, could do with taking a look at it.

Not sure what’s up with the internet. Have not had the time with the HDD scan. Didn’t know about the Customer experience.

The CrystalDisk HDD check doesn’t take long, its not like chkdsk or the extended Seatools test etc.

The other issues you can see for yourself are flagged up in your event logs.

When you run CrystalDisk Info you should get similar to what is showing in the attachment below, screenshot/s of those please, they can be checked in seconds for you.

Darn, you post same time as I did ops:

Edit to add, the HDD looks all good so would suggest running the Windows AIO tool.

Download then run the Windows All in One Repair (free) from here, disregard the malware guidance but follow the other steps to the letter and in particular ensuring that you first create a new restore point and perform a proper Windows clean boot before running the repair, details for the clean boot here.

May have just been a blip if your internet is working ok but see attachment below.

Did you run the AIO tool yet.

Hmm,i guess i missed that (AIO). Will have to find the time today to run that. (granddaughter is coming over)
I hope this will not mess with my Win 10 pc as it did with my Win 7 pc a while back.

Never had any problems with the AIO tool tbh, creating a new restore point is a part of the procedure in any event.

                                Any more shut downs.
