Check and see if itβs working. If not:
In the device manager, right-click the Synaptic Pointing Device and remove or uninstall it. Reboot. Windows should automatically re-install the driver.
Once you do the above, if it still doesnβt work, youβll install the latest Hotkey software. I read that it can cause issues with the TrackPad.
Youβll need to check and ensure you havenβt accidentally disabled the trackpad with a Function (Fn) key combo.Comment

I havenβt seen IRQ conflicts since Windows 98.
Some of my mates from across the pond will be on later. Iβll ask them for help. Iβm starting to think it might be mechanical/hardware. Then again, why are the settings greyed out in the driver?
