Hi everyone:

Hope the weekend is going well. Finally, all the pieces have been shipped. Supervisor once again told me not to purchase any external equipment for a work around and see how the setup goes Monday. The Router is Aruba made by HP and the model number is 303HR. The computer as mentioned does not have an old-fashioned tower but what looks like the exact size of a modem Lenovo M70Q. I believe there was a piece of paper that mentioned "The Lenovo M70Q has built in ethernet (will not swear to this). Thanks and I will update Monday night when training is over (After 6:30 PM Eastern Time, USA).

Hi everyone:

Hope it was a great weekend.

Here is the latest. Job started today and was asked not to buy anything until things were setup and we punched out.

The I.T. and supervisor suggested to by a 100 foot ethernet cable from Staples. Place one end in Room 1 into the one remaining open port on the home router marked LAN. Then place the other in the work router. I will find out tomorrow if it is copasetic. I did see for a few seconds the phone system had lights and showed the Cisco trademark and the work router went from 1 green button to all 3 being lit. Please let it be the answer!!! Have a great Tuesday

something I prepared earlier

if this will be a long term opportunity, you can always get a cable guy around to put in wall points in Room 1 and Room 2 and hide the cable in the roof or under the house, or however is doable if you are in an apartment.
