You need to be on an admin account.
There is likely nothing that is going to help, except logging n as admin.

The error indicates you are not looking on the C: drive.

Your problem is here.
Your age is 13?
You need to have your parents, install C++ newer version for you,.

Not heard of that before Mal, I know that if the OP was within the EU being younger than 16 would be an issue but not when outside of the EU and only needing a Windows download.

It’s the fact that it’s not an admin account, not the age of the person.

But also seems that the installer clean up tool is pointing towards the D: drive, perhaps windows is looking in the wrong location for programs. Which could be the entire issue here.

In elevated command prompt.

mountvol S: /D and mountvol T: /D. You can also try mountvol /R, which should remove all drive letter assignments for which there is no currently mounted drive.

According to MTB log , there is only c: and e:

I believe that is due to you not being admin. Can you just ask whoever is in charge at your house to help you with this issue?

From the administrator account, please run minitoolbox and speccy. Post the logs.

Error: (08/11/2024 04:40:58 PM) (Source: MsiInstaller) (EventID: 11327) (User: NIK-LAPTOP13)
Description: Product: Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office -- Error 1327. Invalid Drive: D:\

Event ID 11327 is associated with the Windows Installer and indicates an error during the installation of a software application. Specifically, it reports “Error 1327: Invalid drive,” which means that the installer is trying to access a drive that is not available or does not exist on the system.

Unmount the D: drive.

/r Removes volume mount point directories and registry settings for volumes that are no longer in the system, preventing them from being automatically mounted and given their former volume mount point(s) when added back to the system.

So you will want to do this in elevated command prompt.

Copy each command one at a time and hit enter after each.

To ensure you are using elevated command prompt, use Powerun.
Unzip to the desktop and double click the X64 version and run the command prompt within the tool.

mountvol D: /P

MOUNTVOL /R

Or....
Start
Type.>>>>>> diskmgmt.msc
Right click run as admin.
Right Click on the D: drive.
Delete Volume.

Make sure apps install on the C: drive.

Reboot after you make these changes and try and install the C++

Where are we with the C++ thing - is it uninstalled and we can't install again, or can we not even uninstall?

If trying to uninstall, use Revo Uninstaller or Geek Uninstaller to force a removal of it.
If trying to reinstall, how about creating another login account and trying from that user?
Software is installed by any user and is seen across the local machine to all users.
And while under this new user, see if Windows Updates finds anything to install.

The last Speccy showed you had a C:\ and a E:\ drive.

But at some point you must have had a D:\ when you created that Alex admin account.
