Hello, I am running a RTX 3070, with 32gb Ram, And an Intel I7-10700kf i believe.
With a 144hz monitor through Display Port. Wireless Logitech Mouse.
A couple weeks ago, suddenly one day my PC was running extremely slow, Nothing seemed to fix it.
I did a fresh install of windows, updated all drivers afterwards, and it seemed to solve the problem.
Shortly after, (couple days) after usage it began to screen flicker and also display very small green horizontal lines on my monitor.
The panic was that the GPU was fried. I had the thought of changing the port my Display Port cable was in, Once doing this, it fixed the problem.
Then Shortly after that, it began skipping frames. As in - Hard to explain, but if you moved your mouse left and right continuously,
eventually every 10 or so seconds, it will put the mouse somewhere else on the screen horizontally but continue motion very quickly after, as if nothing happened.
A micro stutter. However it does also drop frames momentarily sometimes too, we're talking going from 300-500 FPS to like bottom line 10-20. I have troubleshooted all possible things to do with microstutters.
I've tried messing around with G Sync, frame rates and hz. I dont think its the mouse causing FPS issues.. But i cant see how its the GPU in this case either.
perhaps im missing something. I'm swapping out monitors and going for HDMI within the next day or so to trouble shoot this also.
FYI, its not the CPU overload, its also not overheating.
If it is the GPU being problematic, does anyone know specifically what it could be / how much a fix might cost, or should i just chuck it out and buy a new one.
