- heres a video ive just uploaded showing me trying to play roblox with task manager open showing the ssd usage

Turned hibernation off, same results. Here:
Actually, not the same. In your first pic the SSD is at 100%. In your 2cd pic the SSD shows 7%.

Thanks for the video though, it gives us more to go on.

I've downloaded them and it still says failed. Any help?
Did you also install them?

Its turned off. I turned it on, and it said something due to internal errors that it can't be turned on, so I've got it disabled.

Did you also install them?
I think? I downloaded the drivers off the website and ran the install, so I'm pretty sure they've been 'installed' - although it seems they've failed for some reason still?

Sorry about that one. The SSD still spiked so i said there was no results, my bad again. Appreciate the help though 👍🏼

Ok, let's get an updated MTB
Download MiniToolBox (MTB) by Farbar.

Once open, Tick the following boxes:
Flush DNS
List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
List Installed Programs
List Devices (only problems)
List Users Partitions and Memory size
List MiniDump Files
List Restore Points

Click Go. A file MTB.txt will be created in the same folder you ran the program. Upload this in your next post.

First get rid of this.
Driver Updater (HKLM\...\{90C997D4-4F19-4DB0-B21C-04F688C04685}) (Version: 9.0.33905.1030 - Avanquest)
These driver update programs only cause more problems. They don't always go to the best source or grab the correct versions. I'm all for convenience and efficiency but this is not it.

Open an elevated command prompt

Type slmgr /dli

Take a screenshot of the Windows Script Host dialogue and add to your next reply.

Did your copy of Windows come with the PC or did you purchase a copy?
I had bought this off facebook marketplace, so I have no idea. When i got it, the pc already had windows, so I cant really say how windows was installed

I would say someone sold you a PC with an illegitimate copy of Windows. This might be part of the issue as it won't get any updates, especially security updates, until a legitimate copy is activated.
@phillpower2

If Phil gives me the go ahead, we'll proceed.

Since an illegitimate copy of Windows is technically "illegal" I may not be able to proceed.

3. Discussion of or promotion of sites offering cracks, warez, torrents, pornography or any other illegal material or any software created to download any of the above will result in an immediate ban. This includes nulled, copied or any other illegal software or operating systems.

Ah, the old 3V66T Product Key.
That code is burnt into my brain, it's a well known (infamous) volume license key that most of the scammers use.
If you still have all the Key, the first will start with VK7JG.

Apologies for the tardy response, been busy at home + was waiting for the OP to have a chance to reply to the above before I chimed in, the OP visited the forums on Tuesday 18th but did not respond which in itself is off, that bundled with the place of purchase, the giveaway Description: License Activation (slui.exe) in the MTB log and then the blatant counterfeit Windows product key information all combined means that someone is being economic with the truth and the only two options are to outright close the thread or help the OP to get a legitimate product key and activate Windows through Microsoft.

Bottom line, we are not the Windows Police but forum rules are just that and why should we pay for our OS produce keys while others steal and/or sell them.

Fwiw, the irony here is that the OP had a legitimate product key but replaced it with a non legit one meaning that the only way to correct this is by purchasing something that they had in the first place which was a legitimate Windows product key

I'll take any help I can with resolving this, I just want to play games.

I hadn't responded because I thought that you'd either give the okay signal or not allow xrow to help, I thought me responding wasn't necessary.

I'm gonna be real here, no point in lying. I searched up what the 'problem' was and followed a YT tutorial. Stupid mistake tbh. But genuinely, if this means I cant get help anymore, I still appreciate all the help that's been given already.

As was said in my reply #33;

or help the OP to get a legitimate product key and activate Windows through Microsoft.

The above is the only help that can/will be offered.

There are sketchy forums around that help people knowing full well that they have non legit software installed, we are not such a forum that does and the ones that do are nine out of ten times the source of peoples problem in the first place with being locked out of updates and malware infection the two main dangers.

You mentioned that there was a version of Windows already installed on the PC, check the back of the case for any Windows product key sticker and/or check among any paperwork, disks or USB flashdrives that you may have received when you first got the PC, such a product key would allow you to start afresh with what I suspect may have been Windows 10 Home.
