Did you try the command using the Admin Command Prompt like @Bastet stated.

when you get to the command prompt in the start menu right click and select Admin

type the following command

ipconfig /flushdns

Im right clicking and a list comes up but nothing about admin privileges.

First, let me say malnutrition has been an awesome help so far in getting the malware and junk off the comp. The original problem again was when i click on some sites a screen will come up saying "checking to see if connection is secure". Then it says with a checkmark "connection is secure" but instead of connecting it just goes back in the loop again.

I have to head to work. Thanks for all the help. Will be back this evening.

Slimjet is an improvement.

So install Ublock Origin on it, since it seems to be working on all sites. If this browser work on all sites then forget the other browsers get used to using this one!

I am uploading three batch files for you that will change your DNS servers for you with the click of a button, they will also flush and register the dns servers.

They are as follows.

Google DNS
Cloudfare DNS
Alternate DNS

Download the attached file, then unzip it to your desktop or simply double click on the folder and drag the icons out to your desktop.

You will then need to right click on one or the other and run as administrator. You can only use one at a time.

Before i do this what does a DNS flush do?

Exactly what you wanted. Ipconfig /flushdns

It will also change your dns server to the ones mentioned.
