What is flashpeak.com? A pop up comes up saying i need to download that first.

I dont want anything on the comp that will cause issues or stop firefox and chrome from working.

Now since i tried to download slim twitter wont work. It wont let me log in. Im going to have to see if that starts working before i do anything else.

That download has absolutely nothing to do with twitter.

I am moving this thread back to networking, as the malware on your computer is now removed.

Let's see if others have any ideas here for you. I think I have done all that I can do. Windows Vista is no longer supported by Microsoft. Eventually nothing no browsers or any newer programs will run on this outdated operating system. I suggest that you install service pack 2. And get used to the idea that some websites may not work, that is due to no browsers being updated/supported in vista.

Have a great night, and good luck with the issue. Hopefully others will chime in and offer you some more assistance. :)

Twitter was having its own problems, it wasnt me. I downloaded slimjet. It seems somewhat better.

I did not download opera. I did download the service pak. I saw on the internet that doing a dns flush might help with connectivity but when i tried that it said operation needs elevation.

do i need to buy another computer?

1) Did you download opera?
2) did you download and install the vista service pack
I ended up downloading slim, not opera. I installed the service pak. Iread about doing a DNS flush but when i typed in Iconfig/dnsflush in command it said it needed a higher elevation

would be the best thing to do with the advances that have been made this is your best option.

Vista is NOT secure to be use online and there is nothing that can make that happen.

Now adays newer software requires newer hardware and operating systems.

You could try Linux and Linux Mint would be the closest to Windows that you can use if that system is 64 bit.
