Im headed to work. Back around 5. better not be late again, lol. Thanks again!!

I’ll check this when I’m get home.

In the mean time, run a scan with kaspersky you must disable avast while this scan runs.

I suggest a full scan with Kaspersky.
Disable Avast .....
Download and run a full scan with the Kaspersky Virus Removal tool.
Accept the terms.
Click Change Parameters.
Select the System drive.
All volumes.
Click OK, start Scan.
Report any detections here.

I will be back later. I did want to tell you something that might help. It totally slipped my mind. For awhile now my comp has a really hard time starting up. Sometimes you have to push the button and hold it down awhile for the comp to start. Sometimes this also happens. When the screen comes up there is a flashing bar with green lights under microsoft. Then that screen will load up to the regular screen and it loads fine. Sometimes however the green light on the keyboard goes out and nothing happens. The lights on the bar under microsoft goes back and forth and the screen just stays black and doesnt load. I have to turn the comp on and off several times till it will load. It might just be a coincidence but it hasnt happened since that fix you did and i have been turning the comp on and off alot. Maybe the fix helped that.

Kaspersky wouldnt load. It said it only works on win 7 and up.

Download RogueKiller and install the program.
Once downloaded and installed, right click and run as admin.
Click the check for updates button.
Go to scan setting then slide the MalPE option right to activate.
Then go to scan, then start a full scan on your machine.
Then click report when the scan completes.
Under Share my report click on open then select text file.
Copy it and paste the results here.
Make sure you do not remove anything detected until I see the log please.

FRST Fix.
Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop. NOTE. It's important that both files, FRST/FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work. NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system Run FRST/FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run. When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post it to your reply.

The roguekiller wont work either. Just a blank screen. do you want me to do the fix thing anyway?

aag. its doing the same as before. notepad is default and when i click other there is no option for desktop

Drag fixlist to desktop then right click FRST run as admin click the fix button.

I know you are going to think im stupid but there is nothing there in dowloads for fixit. I dragged something else to desktop but i assume i have to run the fixit program before it shows up in downloads

maybe im not explaining it right. I click on your attachment and an arrow goes up to a download icon on firefox. then i go to downloads and there is no fixit

exact same thing happens. I click and an arrow goes to the download icon where i would click to run it. There is still nothing in downloads. I didnt mention one thing. A big text box comes up. I assume its the text from last time.

Make sure and disable your antivirus/defender prior to the scan.
