Solved Newly built PC not displaying anything

Hi there, I recently built my first desktop PC, but when I went to boot it up, there was no display connection. Ram lit up, fans turned on, GPU lit up. I got a error code (1 long three short) which from what I could tell meant that the video card had some problem. I've tried reseating it and removing it entirely to allow for the iGPU to work , as well as checking power cables, without any change in the beep code or any display popping up on my monitor. The DisplayPort cable I'm using works and I'm not sure what else to test. My parts are

  • CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X
  • GPU: RTX 4070
  • RAM: Team T-Force 2x 16GBs
  • MOBO: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite Ax V2
  • CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition
Thanks!

This is due to the fact that they CPU does not have GPU capabilities.

Check the BIOS to make sure that the proper version is installed for the hardware that you have.

MOBO: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite Ax V2

Which revision?
Which will tell you what version of BIOS is needed.

Oh shoot, I didn't realize that the CPU didn't have the capabilities, does that mean I need a different CPU or do I need to do something else. I'm completely unable to see BIOS, so would I need to download it onto a flash drive?
Sorry for the late reply, thank you!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the MB shipped with BIOS version F2 and the Ryzen 9 5900X requires at least version F10, you can confirm this here

The RAM is also a bit of a problem as the Ryzen 9 5900X can only handle up to 3200MT/s which means that XMP cannot be enabled and you will have to manually OC the RAM to the max of 3200MY/s.

Do I just download the newest one from the manufacture's website?

correct after you look at the CPU support to see which BIOS you need.

Follow the install instruction for this BIOS update.

As always refer to your motherboards Manual and confirm confirm confirm confirm.

If unsure ask.

Ok, I still don't know how to find the specific download. I'm still pretty new to this. Do I just download the newest one from the manufactures website?

You can`t update the BIOS on that MB without a working CPU, that is why I provided the information that I did in my reply #4;
