Hello guys,
Im tired. I tried updating my Bios for 3 Hours now with help of YT and other sites. But i just cant do it. My Mainboard is the B450 gaming pro carbon ac and I downloaded the Bios files on the official MSI website. I formated a stick in FAT32 and saved the file on Root. I go into the Bios and open M-Flash, I see the stick but it seems empty. At this point i dont know what to do. Pls Help.

Hello Davi,

Golden rule of computing is never update the BIOS unless you 100% have to, this includes to resolve a known issue and to allow for a CPU upgrade, there is no benefit to updating the BIOS otherwise and doing so risks you bricking the MB if something goes wrong.

There has not been any reason to update the BIOS since back in 2019 so can I ask why you are trying to update the BIOS and what version of BIOS do you presently have.

So, this leads to a much longer story. Yesterday I bought COD mw2 and as I tried to start it, nothing happend. I watched 10 YT videos but nothing helped. In the comments of the videos someone described my exact same problem and he said after a few days he updated his BIOS and it worked perfectly fine. I reinstalled the game 3 times on different harddrives but it doesnt start. Im just so frustraded.

So other can assist let get a speccy report.

What is the brand and model name or number of the PSU.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Updating the BIOS should not be done because some faceless clown on the internet says it enabled them to play C.o.D.

As advised in my reply #2, updating the BIOS is always a last resort & being that the OP is already having problems with flashing the BIOS it would be irresponsible of us to help any further, chances are their computer hardware is below the required spec for the game.
