Its never crashed on me while just idling or browsing, its usually while gaming and its very random i went a week till yesterday without any BSOD. I can try the RAM things and i have no extra way to get a GPU Its possilbe that mine is bad my build is brand new only a few months oldOriginally posted by Brucenothing stood out to me from the Speccy report.
albeit this happens in any game - is it only games?
does it do it while browsing or using Word?
have you tried only running the rig with one memory stick at a time to isolate either one of them being the cause?
can you get your hands on a loaner GPU - friend, family, neighbour, work - to test that it simply hasn;t gone pear-shaped?
otherwise - warranty time!

Use Geek Uninstaller. Use force mode. Or if that does not work, then go into autoruns and uncheck each bitdefender item, then reboot then delete.Comment

old BIOS being the cause of a BSoD is very unlikely, but personally, Iβd be getting the latest firmware in case I ever wanted to change hardware down the track, like processor or memory.
plus there could be some bug fixes or general improvements with the new version.
also, itβs usually easier to go from v1 to v2 to v3 and so on, than go from v2 to v30.Comment
