can you get your hands on a loaner GPU - friend, family, neighbour, work - to test that it simply hasn;t gone pear-shaped?

Use Geek Uninstaller. Use force mode. Or if that does not work, then go into autoruns and uncheck each bitdefender item, then reboot then delete.Comment

old BIOS being the cause of a BSoD is very unlikely, but personally, Iβd be getting the latest firmware in case I ever wanted to change hardware down the track, like processor or memory.
plus there could be some bug fixes or general improvements with the new version.
also, itβs usually easier to go from v1 to v2 to v3 and so on, than go from v2 to v30.Comment
