Low end gaming pc build - need help!

You going elsewhere is fine when not troubleshooting a computer problem that you have already asked for and received assistance from any other forum, computer builds are slightly different but ask yourself this, is it actually helpful and informative someone saying that their AMD CPU is better than the i5 CPU that you would like to include in your build, I suspect that I already know your answer.

The links that I provided will cost you nothing to use but will ultimately save you some cash, as advised already, do your own list of parts and then ask us to take a look, I would also suggest that use the Part List Opinions Wanted forum for fellow builders like yourself, we all had to start somewhere but unfortunately some people that post on forums think that they know it all

An i7 is overkill for gaming but if your budget will allow it and that is the way you want to go, do your list and we will take a look (y)

Couple of pointers for you;

Having 32GB of RAM is a total waste for your intended use of the computer, atm 8GB would be enough but having 16GB ready for games released in years to come is a sensible approach.

Your aftermarket cooler, a very important thing I must make you aware of, if you use it you will void your AMD CPU warranty, AMD are clear on this, see below;

This Limited Warranty shall be null and void if the AMD microprocessor which is the subject of this Limited Warranty is used with any heatsink/fan other than the one provided herewith.

Never heard of that brand of TV so used Google, seems that they are not very well thought of see reviews here

FWIW: If I was paying out so much money on a new build I would be wanting an i7 CPU, a GTX 1080 and an SSD included in the build cost.

If you don’t mind my 2 cents, even with the warranty issue, the cooler you picked is not a great one. And I completely agree with phillpower’s comment about better components.

Well I do have to admit i7 is a tad more expensive, maybe its better. Lemme update this.

Never said one way or the other that an i7 was better only that I would want one in such an expensive build, AMD builds tend to be less expensive than Intel builds so what I am actually suggesting is that your proposed build looks costly, stick with a Ryzen 5 CPU by all means but look to bring in an SSD and a GTX 1080.

Well id like to add a 1080, but I think ive gone all out with the money I have because ive allready upped the build price by about 500$, maybe more. Perhaps you have some good builds for 1k800?
