An i7 is overkill for gaming but if your budget will allow it and that is the way you want to go, do your list and we will take a look (y)Comment

Couple of pointers for you;Originally posted by sirprize10
Having 32GB of RAM is a total waste for your intended use of the computer, atm 8GB would be enough but having 16GB ready for games released in years to come is a sensible approach.
Your aftermarket cooler, a very important thing I must make you aware of, if you use it you will void your AMD CPU warranty, AMD are clear on this, see below;
This Limited Warranty shall be null and void if the AMD microprocessor which is the subject of this Limited Warranty is used with any heatsink/fan other than the one provided herewith.
Full AMD article here
Never heard of that brand of TV so used Google, seems that they are not very well thought of see reviews here
FWIW: If I was paying out so much money on a new build I would be wanting an i7 CPU, a GTX 1080 and an SSD included in the build cost.Comment

Never said one way or the other that an i7 was better only that I would want one in such an expensive build, AMD builds tend to be less expensive than Intel builds so what I am actually suggesting is that your proposed build looks costly, stick with a Ryzen 5 CPU by all means but look to bring in an SSD and a GTX 1080.Comment

Well id like to add a 1080, but I think ive gone all out with the money I have because ive allready upped the build price by about 500$, maybe more. Perhaps you have some good builds for 1k800?Originally posted by phillpower2Never said one way or the other that an i7 was better only that I would want one in such an expensive build, AMD builds tend to be less expensive than Intel builds so what I am actually suggesting is that your proposed build looks costly, stick with a Ryzen 5 CPU by all means but look to bring in an SSD and a GTX 1080.Comment
