Can I ask that you do not quote every reply as we have to read the full post to make sure nothing gets missed, thanks.
Operating System
Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
Computer type: Virtual
Installation Date: 7/2/2025 1:15:26 PM

Windows is shown to be a recent install and a lazy one at that, called lazy as rather than it be done properly the system has just been allowed to work using Windows own generic drivers, how it should have been done and for as to why is explained in my canned info below;
Once Windows has been clean installed you must then install first the MBs chipset drivers then the storage/SATA drivers and third the graphics drivers, the drivers can either come from a disk provided by the motherboard manufacturer ** or downloaded from their site and saved to a flash drive etc, this is a must and Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.

The reason why this procedure is so important, the chipset is what enables the MB to be able to communicate with all the hardware + are the first drivers that Windows looks for on boot.

** For OEM computers/notebooks such as Acer, Dell, HP and Lenovo etc you must only download drivers from their support page, OEMs may sometimes redirect users to a third party site such as AMD or Nvidea to obtain the latest drivers for their GPUs, this tends to be for high end gaming notebooks and desktops though.

The highlighted in red above is confirmed in your MTB log as to what has transpired here, see the error below which is caused by incompatible or corrupted drivers.
Error: (07/06/2025 10:23:13 AM) (Source: IPF) (EventID: 17) (User: NT AUTHORITY)
Description: ESIF(1.0.11904.2707) TYPE: ERROR MODULE: IPF TIME 332136901 ms

Failed and Incorrect drivers installation order and completely missing drivers are apparent here so I suggest that you start afresh but before doing so go direct to the Lenovo support page for your exact model of computer and download and save to a USB flashdrive the chipset, storage, touchscreen and Intel HD video drivers.

Too late now but this computer should have been returned as soon as you realised that all was not well, there is no certainty that you you starting afresh but doing it correctly will resolve the issue, it may never have been functional for all that you know.

As an asides, I always thought that like Legion Erazer was a gaming spec of Lenovo but apparently not as your computer does not even have a discrete GPU.

From where did you purchase the computer.

I bought it via Alibaba. They have run out of solutions to try so I’m giving it until Monday to start the return/exchange process. At this point I want to know if this device is even supposed to have touch screen support before I have them send me another one.

They provided the drivers (below) that I tried installing at the start of each reset/clean install to try and fix it. There were a number of β€œUnknown devices” in the device manager prior to me installing these drivers and they were all gone by time I got through the list.

So I will try again with the clean install, this time installing the drivers once the install is complete and not allowing Windows to check for updates during the install.

Thanks!

Couple of questions for you;

Are you aware of all the counterfeit computer goods coming out of China.

Have you been able to have Lenovo to identify your computer and then direct you to the appropriate Lenovo support area.

That is your best bet in all honesty.

I did another clean install, didn’t let it connect to the internet, and installed the drivers from the USB. Here is the new speccy link:

Let me know if you need that log as well again. Thank you.

Didn’t see how they would help the situation. I already said that I wanted to see if I could confirm if this tablet was even capable of touchscreen and from the lenovo forum link has been the only contact I have been able to have with the company. I didn’t here back for the ticket I submitted yet.

Apologies but I mistakenly thought that when asking for free help on tech forums that you were meant to answer any questions that were asked, silly me

The above, you doubting that the computer even has a touchscreen + the total lack of support from Lenovo suggests that the computer could be counterfeit, hence the reason why I asked those two questions.

Good luck with it.
