Hey guys not sure if this is in the right part of the forum, sorry in advance. My laptop that I am using is running really slow and lagging on browsers etc. Below are a few specs:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
RAM: 4 GB
System: 32-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron (R) CPU 900@ 2.20GHZ 2.19GHZ
If you receive any security warnings, or the User Account Control warning opens at any time whilst using FRST you can safely allow FRST to proceed.
Frst will open with two dialogue boxes, accept the disclaimer.
Frst will take a few minutes to scan your computer, and when finished will produce two log files on your desktop, FRST.txt, and Addition.txt. They will display immediately on the desktop, but can be reopened later as a notepad file.
Please Copy and Paste the contents of these logs in your next post for review by our Security Team
Step 2:
Please download MiniToolBox and save it to your desktop. Run the program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator. When the program opens select the following boxes:
Flush DNS
Report IE Proxy Settings
Reset IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
Reset FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP Configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
List Installed Programs
List Devices (Only Problems)
List Users, Partitions and Memory size

When you say browsers, what happens when youβre using Chrome, FF, etc? Do pages load slow? Does it freeze?
I had you run FRST so I could get an idea of whatβs on your machine. You can go ahead and remove it. To be safe you can run DelFix and itβll remove all traces of FRST and any other tools that may be lingering.
ManishMan got to you Start menu then Control Panel
Form there select Network and Sharing Center
On the left side select Change Adaptor Settings
Right Click on you connection and select Properties
