In short, games are more demanding, and the GPU requires more power.
Since this only happens in games, the PSU would be the first thing to blame, supported by it not being the best to begin with.
But yes, it could also be something else entirely; processor, graphics card, or motherboard.Comment

not sure if it matters but everytime i turn the pc on, the display, keyboard and mouse flickers 2-5 times and it takes like 15-30 seconds until i can actually use it. also i think i said it already but when i lose signal all the lights and fans stay on but the keyboard and mouse doesnt respond and the display is not working.Comment

Again, sounds like the power supply to me, or at least the next com[ponent to replace.
Maybe it’s time to take it to your nearest repair shop and they can swap in & out parts to isolate the issue.Comment

Since my current PSU isn’t good for gaming anyway, I’ll replace it because even if it’s not the source of the problem it’s probably still worth it. After I replace it I’ll come back here.Comment

I finished doing some things they asked me to do (take some pictures of the PSU, answer some questions) and they will give the money back soon. The problem is, there were only a few left from that PSU I wanted (Corsair Rm750e) and it was all sold recently. Do any of you have any recommendations of PSUs that would be as good as the Rm750e? And as I already said, things are expensive in my country so it would be good if you recommend one that is most likely not very expensive. The only reason I could but the Rm750e was that it was 50% off in a sale.Comment

There’s another identical Rm750e from the same website but it only has 1 review, the other wasn’t much better, it was 4, but still. If it came without working I could just give it back and get my money back, so should I just go for this?Comment

While there are many great brands, there are also many duds.
I don’t like giving specific makes/models, as they constantly change.
What I look for in a PSU is;

[li]warranty - must be at least 7, but much preferably 10, and the good manufactures usually have 10[/li][li]80+ Gold. Platinum and Titanium are for the really top level gaming rig, and they tend to be over most peoples budget[/li][li]100watts more than you think you need[/li][/ul]
Sadly, if that means paying more than you were originally thinking, then so be it.
The motherboard and PSU are foundation components, that is, everything else (literally and figuratively) sits on top of these. Get these right at the start, and with any luck, down the track all you need to do to add more life into the old rig is add more RAM, or upgrade to a better GPU, or convert to faster storage. I think I found a very good one. Over a thousand people have reviewed this PSU in the website I buy pc things from and the reviews say it’s good. It’s this one: MSI MAG A850GL, 850W, 80 Plus Gold, Modular, active PFC, black. This might be a silly question, but is there the possibility of this PSU not working correctly in my PC?
