Hello, please help me. I can’t find a solution to the problem. The problem is that the system does not see a discrete video card (rtx 3080ti) on the motherboard biostar tb250 btc, that is, when connected, on the start screen when booting, it says that there is nothing in the pcie slot and the task manager does not display (only video from the processor). I looked for a solution on various forums, changed bios settings, tried to connect other video cards, but still the system does not see any.

OK, if it is a settings issue, have you tried taking everything back to factory defaults.
Reset the BIOS, and make sure you have the latest firmware update.
If your 3080 works in another PC and other GPU’s don’t work in your rig, I’m guessing you really do have a hardware issue, or all GPU’s you have tried are not compatible.

I even tried to connect the video card through the riser and tried all the bios firmwares from the official site. And another interesting detail, the previous owner (a good friend) used a motherboard and a system with a video card on Linux, and only then I installed windows 10, what do you think if I I will install Linux, will it help somehow?Comment

Post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).
Download then run Speccy ( free ) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.
To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:
In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.Comment

Any Gold efficiency rated PSU that does not have at least a seven year warranty should not be used in anything more than an entry level desktop, high end GPUs need a high end PSU and you only get that from the likes of the Corsair RM range, EVGA, Seasonic and Super Flower.
The present PSU has a three year warranty and can only produce a questionable 732W so is no good for your GPU.
This is not an OS problem so moving the thread to hardware.
How many screens are you trying to use.Comment

Your friend may well of had the best of intentions but the PSU is rated as – Tier C • Low-end
As it stands, you need an appropriate PSU and we need the required Speccy url.Comment

From Speccy;
C:\ drive temp is 98 °C which is pretty high but the internal temp is 18 °C, so it may just be a sensor issue but keep an eye on it.
D:\ drive has some CRC and G-force errors and more importantly a head stability error (new one on me)
Your memory sticks are different, try just one at a time. If one sticks doesn’t change things, try the other stick.Comment
