    Problem with settings

Hello, please help me. I can’t find a solution to the problem. The problem is that the system does not see a discrete video card (rtx 3080ti) on the motherboard biostar tb250 btc, that is, when connected, on the start screen when booting, it says that there is nothing in the pcie slot and the task manager does not display (only video from the processor). I looked for a solution on various forums, changed bios settings, tried to connect other video cards, but still the system does not see any.

Have you tried the RTX3080 in another PC to test it is OK?
Where did it come from; online store?, retail store?, new?, used?
What is the make/model of the PC’s power supply?

Yes, of course, the video card is working and everything is ok. As for the power supply, everything is also ok, the 750 w block.I think that everything is ok with PC components, but the problem is in the settings

OK, if it is a settings issue, have you tried taking everything back to factory defaults.
Reset the BIOS, and make sure you have the latest firmware update.

If your 3080 works in another PC and other GPU’s don’t work in your rig, I’m guessing you really do have a hardware issue, or all GPU’s you have tried are not compatible.

What pcie slot are you using?
From what I can see it has 8 pcie slots.
Are you using one of these.

I even tried to connect the video card through the riser and tried all the bios firmwares from the official site. And another interesting detail, the previous owner (a good friend) used a motherboard and a system with a video card on Linux, and only then I installed windows 10, what do you think if I I will install Linux, will it help somehow?

If you would like help please provide information when asked for it, not all PSUs are made equal with some being so bad that they should ship with a health warning and a fire extinguisher.

Post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

Download then run Speccy ( free ) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

There is one thing that is possibly worse than using a known poor quality brand of PSU and that is using one that is unheard of, for brands of PSU to trust and brands to avoid please refer to the links in my sig.

Any Gold efficiency rated PSU that does not have at least a seven year warranty should not be used in anything more than an entry level desktop, high end GPUs need a high end PSU and you only get that from the likes of the Corsair RM range, EVGA, Seasonic and Super Flower.

The present PSU has a three year warranty and can only produce a questionable 732W so is no good for your GPU.

This is not an OS problem so moving the thread to hardware.

How many screens are you trying to use.

I am from Ukraine, this brand was recommended to me by a friend. As for the screens, I use one full HD monitor. I will reset the characteristics now (I didn’t have time yesterday)

Your friend may well of had the best of intentions but the PSU is rated as – Tier C • Low-end

As it stands, you need an appropriate PSU and we need the required Speccy url.

Bruce suggested that you restore the BIOS defaults, have you done this.

Was the RTX3080 in the PCiE slot when you ran Speccy.

                              From Speccy;
C:\ drive temp is 98 °C which is pretty high but the internal temp is 18 °C, so it may just be a sensor issue but keep an eye on it.
D:\ drive has some CRC and G-force errors and more importantly a head stability error (new one on me)
Your memory sticks are different, try just one at a time. If one sticks doesn’t change things, try the other stick.
