If this is a new drive you should have only 1 option = unallocated space

and even if not a new drive, when installing Windows onto a drive, you want to remove all former partitions and simply let Windows decide how it wants to configure the partitions.

        so in short…
        [ul]
[li]all your data on the drive you want to reload Windows onto is saved somewhere[/li][li]you have a bootable USB stick with the Windows image on it ready to use[/li][li]the USB stick is listed in BIOS as the first boot device in the boot menu order[/li][li]start the PC with the stick inserted and the reinstall of Windows will commence[/li][/ul]
post #12 is very nice step by step tutorial.

Do you have the option to format?
            If yes click on format
            click on next

and using Peter’s same image, you could also select each partition and click Delete until only one row remains.
then the install process will handle everything from there.

Format wont tick, load driver ticks ensure disk controller is enabled in the computer bios menu?

Make sure that the usb key is plugged into a black usb port.
Go back into the bios and make the usb the first boot device
                            F10 to save and exit
Will it boot from usb to windows setup

You have the usb as first boot option in bios Yes or No?
                                If yes
Did the computer boot from the usb before?
