Alright, So I’ve been having this issue starting from roughly 3 month ago, I’d like to note that during the 2nd month it did not appear once, but recently reappeared about a month ago.
I first noticed while playing the game War Thunder, randomly during a match my computer would either; 1. Reboot, 2. partially shutdown? (I’ll go into details later), or 3. fully shutdown. Now this originally would happen every 1-3 days for the first week, it was also completely random load wise, I could be inside of a match, sitting in the menu, or downloading files within the game. Temperatures were fine and CPU never went above 70, and GPU never above 72. This issue started to happen daily soon, within ever 6 hours roughly. After every crash/reboot the time until it occurred again was shortened. eventually it happened every hour, then every 30 minutes, and then I wouldn’t be able to launch the game with out my pc crashing instantly on launch.
About a month ago I went and made a post on the game’s official forum as nothing else seemed to trigger this reboot/shutdown issue. I play far more intensive games at max settings like Elite Dangerous and Horizon Zero Dawn; as will as using modeling and rendering tools like Maya and Unity, and none of those ever trigged the issue; Until about a week ago. 3 hours into HZD PC shuts off, 3 hours into ED, PC shuts off. I don’t know why War Thunder was the “Canary in the coal mine”, but it was the sole application triggering this event until recently. I even had a shutdown while just watching YouTube on a browser.
There is nothing indicating that loads or temperatures are causing the shutdown. I can run a full 3DMark render with no issues. And I’ve individually stress tested the GPU, CPU, PSU, UPS, and Ram for over a hour, everything says its fine.
Overheating seems to be the most common issue of shutdowns whenever I tried to research this issue, unless my hardware is displaying incorrect reading, this is not my problem. The 2nd most common issue seems to be a sudden lack of Power. my PSU is 1000W, and the UPS it’s plugged into is 1200W, I don’t think I have ever seen my setup pull more then 650W anyways.
Software wise, I have updated Windows, Updated graphic drivers (and went to older versions to see if that would work (It didn’t)) and even reinstalled my BIOS. I also ran Windows System File Checker and all software that should be there, seems to be accounted for.
Above, I mentioned that some times the PC would not reboot, or fully shutdown. 1/3 of the time there seems to be a partial shutdown. Monitor, the GPU, fans, and most periperials turn off. But, the Motherboard and RAM are still on (or at least their RGB is, which to me indicated that its completely on).
I am not at all tech savvy, and have reached the peak in my abilities to try and resolve this issue with my own research and knowledge. All I have been truly able to do the past month is determine that its not applications or games that cause it, and rather some type of hardware/software issue on my actual PC.
I’ve seen in similar posts here that “Speccy” is commonly requested, so I went ahead and used it

Below I have pictures of the GPU, CPU, PSU, and Ram stress tests, along with Event Viewer and the Console displaying the crashes and reboots. The black and purple photo is my PC in what I called a “partial shutoff” as you can clearly see the Ram and Motherboard still on (the RGB GPU bracket is hooked to the motherboard), while the GPU, fans, and most of the other components are off.
