moving the rig to another house is a good theory.
and just to state the obvious, be extra careful when poking multimeter prongs into electrical sockets.
plus, if your house has an earth leakage detector (been law in Oz for decades), when you poke in the prongs across earth and positive or negative, you’ll trip that device.
but you crazy Yanks aren’t big users of a house earth circuit in each of your power outlets.

if you think your power may be dirty, a UPS unit will sort that out quick smart. they not only provide backup power for a few minutes but their side benefit is cleaning up the sine wave to the devices plugged into the UPS outlets.

Unfortunately the laptop I tried couldnt run the game at all. Everything lagged, stuttered, there was constant screen tearing and massive input lag regardless if vsync was on. It simply couldnt run it. It has a 1650gpu in it and only 8gb of ram.

As for the multimeter, all of my outlets are fine so Im not sure. One day soon Im gonna hit the breaker for everything asides from my internet and PC and then if it works Ill start figuring out what’s causing it.

I thought you were going to try moving your rig to another house instead of installing your game on another PC?
that will test the power theory,

I havent had the chance to do that yet.

I did try another computer that has a ~9 year old i7 and a gtx960 and at 60hz. The game did work fine for 30 mins or so and then I began experiencing the same exact symptoms as my pc. It was the same thing where at first I notice a little bit of player stutter for a game or 2 and then the following game it’s like the game just breaks and everyone stutters constantly. Literally the same thing happens exactly like that on my gaming pc. It’s weird to me how it works fine and then it slowly gets worse.

I’ll update when I get a chance to try it at someone else’s place.

Yeah I have actually. No one I play with experiences anything like this. Everyone I know says the game runs great. The xbox version of it has some performance issues but everyone on pc says it runs great and definitely doesnt have these weird microstutters/hitreg problems that I’ve been having.

I do find it unlikely that it would be the power in your house at fault.
you’d be seeing other issues with other devices, plus you wouldn’t get 30 minutes of everything being fine.

Let get a speccy report.

Do not forget to post the make and model of the PSU

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
