right click the Start button and select Device Manager.
expand Network Adapters, you should see your ethernet port listed, probably called Realtek PCIe or such.
double click it and in Device Status it should say it is working properly.

Like the command prompt (yes i ran it as administratior) I’ve tried a list of things like

              Netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
              Netsh winsock reset
              Ipconfig/flushdns

And it still doesn’t seem to work

Once the modem and router comes back on completely

Access the modem and router and see if ither one of them are blocking the
                    IP Address
                    MAC Address

Make sure that the security protocols are not blocking that system at all?

                    EDITED

Lets also get a speccy repoert may reveal more as to what maybe going on

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

Include the make and model of the Power Supply Unit if this is a Desktop.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

You can also create a second windows account and see if the same issue happen there.

I know it sounds silly and no one could possibly forget…but I have seen it happen that Ops have not installed the internet driver off the MB disk. Drivers never loaded with windows so had to use disk. Also could go to support from MB Manufacturer
