expand Network Adapters, you should see your ethernet port listed, probably called Realtek PCIe or such.
double click it and in Device Status it should say it is working properly.Comment

When you say that it is not working what specifically do you mean?
What are the speeds that you are suppose to be getting?
What are the speed test showing that you ate getting?
Here are a few that you can try.
SpeedOf.Me is a broadband speed test that allows you to easily measure your actual Internet speed on all your devices like desktop, mobile, tablet, game console, smart TV, etc.
How fast is your download speed? In seconds, FAST.com's simple Internet speed test will estimate your ISP speed.
Have you tried resetting the network?
turn them off then on?
Modem
Router
computer
Have you tried resetting the network settings on the computer and what about other devices?Comment

Once the modem and router comes back on completely
Access the modem and router and see if ither one of them are blocking the
IP Address
MAC Address
Make sure that the security protocols are not blocking that system at all?
EDITED
Lets also get a speccy repoert may reveal more as to what maybe going on
Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.
Include the make and model of the Power Supply Unit if this is a Desktop.
To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:
In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.Comment

I know it sounds silly and no one could possibly forgetβ¦but I have seen it happen that Ops have not installed the internet driver off the MB disk. Drivers never loaded with windows so had to use disk. Also could go to support from MB ManufacturerComment
