Hi Guys
When I compose a doc in Open Office, then do a βsave asβ to desktop, as an odt file, it does not appear in desktop, BUT, it shows on the save as page?
Sorry but I donβt use open office so my answers may be generic.
If you refresh the desktop does the doc appear?
If you save to another folder does the file appear?
If you save as another file type does the doc show?
Thank you frenchman96.
Can you post the outcome of those other questions please.
Dragging the mouse cursor to the right corner should show the desktop but not when viewing the desktop. if you have another app/program open does the problem occur?
If you right click on the desktop then refresh should be an option.
1- found r/c refresh ok, senior moment, did it but no sign of any change
2- just saved a doc using Wordpad, same problem, not arrived on DT
3-funny thing is, it shws as saved, see attachment
I managed the icons to suit me, and funny enough, I have just done a new doc in Wordpad, saved to the desktop as a RTF file, and that is not showing on desktop
