It was, but now again I have the same problem plus a new one! When I go to most, not all, but most secured sites, I get this message:
This site can’t provide a secure connection
        www.check-mot.service.gov.uk sent an invalid response.

        [ul]
        [li]Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.[/li][/ul]
        ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

So I searched online, and it said to disable experimental quic protocol in Chrome (among other things), which I did and it worked for a while then the same so I put it default again, but still.

I can’t access many of the websites that I normally visit, that error keeps on coming and I have tried all the solutions I found online, even though many of those pages, I could not access either because of the same error!

As you have Windows 10 can you try another browser from the one you’re having issues with.

You should have Chrome, Edge, and Internet Explorer to choose from according to info already supplied.

I had tried at least one of the websites that I am having trouble with on Edge, and the same error showed up, so I did not try any other website, but now I tried again and at least 2 of those websites are working normally (on Edge), so maybe I just change default browser? But still I have the original problem of videos not loading and no audio, most of the times.

                  Download ResetBrowser to your desktop.

Now close all open browsers. All browsers MUST be closed during this operation!

Right click and Run as Administrator

Click on Reset Chrome– Allow completion.
Click on Reset Firefox– Allow completion.
Click on Reset Internet Explorer– Allow completion.

Now reboot your machine. After doing so, test again and let me know what happens

I had trouble with the browser reset but finally it worked. Then after a day or 2 the laptop was slow and I restated it but now it starts, my desktop opens and after a minute or so, it freezes and I can’t do any scans or restore, I had tried to go into safe mode but it freezes before I am able to do so.

The actual message I get after I do the Run-In Test is 'memory test passed and then under Primary hard disk Self Test it says 55% complete but it won’t go further because in red it says #10008 - Replace Hard Disk 1rent test item and then smart hard disk passed.

It is a good possibility your HDD is failing.

So, will I have to replace It? What caused it ( as per your experience)? Because the only problem I had was the audio and video not working and as I did the downloads and scans that you (pchelpforum) recommended, new problems appeared up to this point. I can’t even get to safe mode as it freezes before I can do it, or any other scan or even try to delete some of the programs. I can’t even do a system restore.

This error code refers to that…#10008 - Replace Hard Disk

It would be best for the other members who have been helping you to verify this. This could be the reason why you can’t get into safe mode (usually points to a hardware issue) and or do a system restore. What cause it,this could be the age of the HDD and or the quality of the build.
