I recently did a clean install of Windows 10 and since then i have been having a problem with my wireless keyboard. It has been lagging sporadically pretty badly. The keyboard is a Logitech MK550 Wireless Wave Keyboard and Mouse. i have then connected wirelessly to my laptop via the 2.4Ghz usb thing. All of my drivers are updated, and the Logitech software is up to date, so i'm not sure what's causing the lag. For example I am having no problem typing this, but I am having trouble typing a Sticky Note. Or sometimes in Chrome and Firefox, it just happens randomly, and never used to happen until i did that clean install. Oh and also the batteries are brand new in the mouse and keyboard. Any suggestions or ideas?

keep the keyboard and mouse within one foot of the receiver. If that doesn't help, ensure that no other electronics sit between your peripherals and the receiver. Other devices can lead to interference with the signal, often causing performance delays and lag.

May I ask the purpose of your post Rajcetted129

I don't have anything else wireless connected. Just the key for the mouse/keyboard. And there's no way I am only going to use the mouse and keyboard 1 foot from my laptop, I have it sitting maybe 6 feet away. If i'm going to only have it a foot away then i may as well just use the laptop keyboard and trackpad. This only just started happening after I did the clean install. So it shouldn't have anything to do with the distance between my laptop and mouse/keyboard.

No, it's still doing it. But I'm building a computer right now and will have it all together on Friday (parts coming in at the moment) so once thats together I'll try it out on that and see if I have issues, since that will be my primary computer. So i'll make sure to update you on Friday.

Okay so I finished my video editing rig yesterday and am now using the wireless mouse and keyboard with that and it seems to be working fine. I'm not sure what the problem was but i'm not having it now. So thanks for the help guys, you can mark it solved.
