Think I understand it now, 2.5 means the format, and SATA 3 is what I need as interface. So I have to look for a "SSD 2.5 SATAIII"
I was getting confused because some sites give me things like ssd 2.5 sataII or ssd 2.5 sataIII (= why i still didn't know which one i needed, still kinda don't, I'm just assuming sataIII is better/faster and either one will work for my setup, or am I wrong?), and other sites just list things as sata III, sata II, sata , pata (ide), msata, pci express (and nothing 2.5 really to select).. So when people tell me "get a normal or simple ssd 2.5, that still confused me when I see different sites having filters on different things with 2.5 in lots of things or in none.

I'll probably just buy the SSD 2.5 SATAIII and hope it works, oh, I should probably also order the bracket + cables, (which ones?)

So far this one that was proposed to me a few posts earlier seems like a good buy? https://www.paradigit.be/kingston-a400-240-gb/20840008/product
I think I'll change the capacity to 240 GB, not sure about 120 GB being big enough or not, but 480 GB seems too much if i have seperate data storage, or not?

So here is what i got when i bought a SSD:

Samsung EVO850 250GB
Kingstone SSD Installation Kit.

Sometimes you can get bundles with both a SSD drive and the installation kit.

I am really happy with my SSD Drive, and i got "only" the operating system (Windows 10 Pro) on that drive so basically C:\

Hey again!
Yeah the SSD in the link is also good, put the "PNY Bracket van 2,5 naar 3,5 inch" in your shopping basket also (that is the bracket you want), and from the pictures it looks like there is a SATA cable in the box also.

Ok, I'll order the following in 1 or 2 weeks from now: SSD 2.5 SATAIII + bracket 2.5 to 3.5 + cables (sata i guess), because I'm in the middle of moving out of my home atm so I barely have time for anything, and if shipping gets delayed for whatever reason, the new people that live here will be very happy, but I won't ;)

After that I'll try to install/place/... it all and hopefully that all works out.

Anyone an idea of where to get a new (cheap, but legal) license for windows?
Right now I have a legal windows 7, and it will be usable for as long as I keep using it, if I reinstall it I can't re-activate it, code won't work then.
- Or am I somehow able to get the same one, but reset to factory or something + get on ssd instead of hdd? If so, how?
- Or should I work with a linux distro and then use wine + windows for gaming? If so, how to get a windows for that wine? Kinda silly to not pay for main OS, but pay for an OS on a virtual something, no?

Any update for us pewoin? This thread will be closed if not replied to within 48hrs.
