Truthfully don’t know the root of the issue. Error code 43 related to graphics card.

So, I’ve built a pc from scratch, everything is factory and new except the GPU. I bought it from a reputable Facebook marketplace seller with a high rating who has been helpful and willing to refund the money if the card is faulty.
I want to make sure the card isn’t the problem before I take it back because I got it for a good price.
I’m getting error code 43 on my GPU tab in the device manager.
“The correct AMD driver is not installed or working properly”
I’ve tried uninstalling the device, I’ve tried a ddu in safe mode ( I believe it worked), I’ve updated windows, I’ve updated motherboard bios and driver, and I’m stumped.
It is noteworthy that I cannot get into the AMD software.
I go to the amd website, select the Radeon rx 570 software to download, I download the installer, it loads and then says a reboot of the pc is required to finish installation. I will reboot the pc, and when I load it back up it’s like nothing ever happened.
theres no window that pops up, when I open the amd tab on my desktop it just takes me back to the page to download the installer.
I have no manually selected an AMD driver from amd software, the only GPU driver is the one windows installed when I booted windows as my os.
when I Click “scan software for updated driver” it says I have thecorrect driver for my hardware, and to check and see if the manufacturer has an updated version.
I believe it’s an issue with not being able to download a driver from amd software, because I can’t get into amd software.
I’m stuck, lol

Welcome to PCHF Fsprophecy,

What brand is the RX 570, ASUS, Gigabyte etc

Fwiw, AMD drivers are generally the pits
