What exactly should I be changing with the ShutUp thingy?
Also, saw that after the HijackThis fix I got a lot of programs that no longer start with Windows.
The ones I need are: Steam; UPlay; HWMonitor and WallpaperEngine.
You can start these at anytime by double clicking onto the application. Think of it like this, do you really need them all running at once? Same concept of having lights on in a room in your house that you are not in. Sure it's easier to walk into a lighted room, but is it really hard to flip the switch when you enter or exit.
These programs are just running in the back round using energy.
You can reenable what you like, but I'd at least keep these settings for a couple of days. If you do not have any freezes, then try and enable one at a time run the machine as normal for a few days.... This is all part of the trouble shooting process.
So... from this point, use your machine as you usually do ... Report any issues.
