Same cause of each crash which was Human Interface Device (HID) drivers.

Check the Device Manager for any yellow ! or red Xs against any device/s listed under HID and the same for the USB hubs etc, HID include such things as USB keyboards, mice, headsets and wireless dongles to name just a few things.

Please post a new Speccy url + the following two logs;

Download and run DriverView which you can get from here

Save the results to text and attach to your next reply for us and then;

Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop.

Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options;

List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
List Installed Programs
List Devices (Only Problems)
List Users, Partitions and Memory size

Click on Go.

Post the resulting log in your next reply for us if you will.

The most recent problems are browser related and nothing to do with the previous issue/s - is Chrome set as your default browser.

The drivers that we were looking for are installed but out of date, create a new system restore point then download an install version [2‎.07.21.306] of the chipset drivers and version F30a of the BIOS from here

Speccy is showing a couple of old Windows updates are still installing, can you check your Windows update and Definitions history to see if they are installed.

When was the last time that you had any BSOD.

You have a fair few USB devices installed which means that if we have to take the long winded route of uninstalling them all and then reinstalling them one at a time and then testing the system it could take us a while to get through them, something for you to do for us first though;

Download Process Explorer which you can obtain from here

Save it to your desktop then run it (Vista or Win7 - right click and Run as Administrator).

View, Select Column, check Verified Signer, OK

Options, Verify Image Signatures

Click twice on the CPU column header to arrange things by CPU usage, this will put the services with the highest CPU usage at the top of the log.

Wait a minimum of a minute for things to settle down then grab an expanded/full screen screenshot and attach it to your next reply for us

To capture and post a screenshot;

Click on the ALT key + PRT SCR key..its on the top row..right hand side..now click on start...all programs...accessories...paint....left click in the white area ...press CTRL + V...click on file...click on save...save it to your desktop...name it something related to the screen your capturing... BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .JPG ...otherwise it may be to big to upload... after typing in any response you have... click on Upload a File to add the screenshot.

Screenshot instructions are provided to assist those that may read this topic but are not yet aware of the “how to”.

Hey Phill.

Apologies for the delay, not been able to be around for a few days :(

Your CPU usage is shown to be very low which is good but there appears to be a problem with Calculator.exe

Did you have the Windows own calculator app running when you took the above screenshot.

Did you check to see if the Windows 10 and the Definitions updates that I highlighted had been successfully installed.

Hey Phill. I don't think i had the calculator running. Yes the updates are fully installed.

The last two crashes were Steam related, the one before that was caused by the Intel gigabit adapter and namely the e1r68x64 drivers, the earliest of the crashes was Discord, the one thing that connects each of the crashes is the network adaptor being in use, create a new folder on your desktop and name it network drivers, download and save to the folder the LAN drivers from here then do the following;

Create a new system restore point.
Uninstall the present LAN drivers.
Restart the computer in Safe Mode only (No Networking)
Install the LAN drivers that you saved to the folder on the desktop.
Restart, test by using the computer as you normally would.
Post back with an update when you are ready.

Should you get any further BSOD, when you post back can you include a new Speccy url and any latest dmps.

Just a fyi: the latest crash was caused by Steamwebhelper.exe which has a potential to be malware related which if it looks to be the case means that we will have to get you some malware removal assistance from a security expert over on those forums, info on Steamwebhelper.exe here please note that this is for information purposes only and I am not suggesting that you use or follow anything that may be suggested at the link.

Hi, i did it but it's still the same. I don't think steamwebhelper is an issue, it comes with steam, everybody that downloads steam has it and nobody has BSODs or anything like that. I deleted the dmps by accident but when i have one i'll post it. I was wondering if after all these things we've done and the problem is still there, maybe it's just the hardware and there's nothing we can do about it? Thanks guys, cheers!

What did you do?

Your latest crash is again related to Network device problems, the cause this time was the Ndu.sys drivers which are related to the Windows Network Data Usage Monitoring driver, see attachment below + https://www.sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=Ndu.sys

Something real strange going on with your updates, some still shown to be in the installing process and some are dated 464 years into the future :unsure:

I did what you said about the LAN drivers. Definitely there's something strange going on, im quite sure at this point it's hardware related right? So i think the best it's to do the RMA. What do you think?

It has been a week since your last post, any further BSOD since.

The strange update behaviour is nothing to do with your hardware and is software related.

Epic games launcher is flagged in two of the four dmps with the other two only flagging the generic nt cause, APC_INDEX_MISMATCH was flagged in three of the four dmps and this points towards Windows itself as being the cause of the crashes, based on the weird update behaviour I suggest that we take a look at Windows;

Download then run the Windows All in One Repair tool from here, disregard the malware guidance but follow the other steps to the letter and in particular ensuring that you first create a new restore point and perform a proper Windows clean boot before running the repair, details for the clean boot here.
