This is kind of a Windows 10 problem and kind of not. I installed the Windows Media Creation Tool on a 256GB flash drive so I could reinstall Windows 10 when I got a new SSD, now I don't need it on there and would like to use the flash drive for other things, so I reformatted the flash drive, but it is now showing that the drive is only 39Gb, what the heck is going on???? How do I get it back to 256GB? The flash drive is a SanDisk 3.0 256GB.

did you format it as NTFS?
there are no other partitions on the drive?
where did you get the drive from?, did you check it was reading as 256GB before you used it?

Any update Brandon Byrnes? This thread will be closed if not replied to within 48hrs.
