i am having a problem with my pc. i have a gtx 1060 6gb, and an i5 6600k, but my pc doesnt boot when my gpu is connected to the system, and will only boot via my iGPU from my i5 6600k, this has only started to happen recently, and i dont know if my GPU has a problem, help:(

When i have my 1060 in my PC, the fans spin normally, i put my HDMI into my GPU (not my motherboards slot before you all go crazy) and my pc doesnt boot whatsoever.
Despite this, when i take my GPU out and put my HDMI into my motherboards HDMI Slot, my PC boots perfectly fine!?
If any of you could help me, it would be much appreciated, many thanks

so the add-on vid card was working with that mobo until just recently?
and without the vid card, the PC works as normal?
how old is the card?
any chance you can put it into another PC to test it is the card - or do you have access to someone else's card to put into you case and test it that way?

Any update for us? This thread will be closed if not replied to within 48hrs.
