Then let's try and disable windows update, and also disable some un needed services. You can reverse this with the click of a button this is just to see if it is related to windows....

To disable updates. https://www.sordum.org/9470/windows-update-blocker-v1-8/

To disable useless services.

Run.... Easy Service Optimizer.
Download unzip to desktop, then select Tweaked mode and then hit the little rocket icon from within the program.

You connect via wireless so you will need to enter the following commands in command prompt.

So you will need to enter these commands in Elevated Command prompt after running Easy Service Optimizer, if you so choose to run it.

Copy and paste each command one at a time and hit enter after.
sc start WlanSvc
sc config WlanSvc start= auto

OK I am all caught up. I also ran ESo but I couldn't find the download button for disabling updates.

Before running this I had a lockup that locked up everything including mouse. I havent had that for a long time. But overall the frequency of lockups has reduced by 150%

Ok, you ran Easy Service Optimizer correct? Can you post a screen shot of that, after hitting the rocket icon for tweaked. Also, is there any printers or anything attached to the system? Can you try running the machine with only mouse and keyboard attached for a while.

Also, create a new accout and run from it for a while. See if it locks up. Whenever you run ESO you should unzip it to your documents folder;/

We for sure messed with something, I have locked up 4 x now. 2 fully locking up everything and 2 with mouse only moving. Will that Easy Service tell you what it is or is there something you need to see first? Its an angry machine atm lol

Can you detach everything from the machine except keyboard and mouse and test. Also, just go back to default with ESO, disabling services should not
make things worse. Might create a new account and test from there as well, this account could just be corrupted.

OH yeah thats a great idea. I will create a new user. Yes I can detach everything but the mouse and keyboard. Also I saved what I thought was a log file from eso but it says its a service list. Can you read from that? And I agree, services shouldnt affect it.

I do not think it’s worth me checking the service list to be honest. Let’s just see how it goes detaching everything and creating a new profile.

So far so good. But I do not have the apps/games on this profile that I would normally be in when it locks up. I also need to spend longer then 20 minutes in it .
