By the way, thanks for all the help, really appreciate it.

I was thinking this PSU: https://www.amazon.ca/EVGA-Warranty...qid=1564449564&s=gateway&sprefix=750W+&sr=8-1

Not the PSU that you should go for, the brand is good but the model is the budget range and therefore not even Bronze efficiency rated, both are reflected in the rather short two year warranty period.

As I mentioned previously, due to you having the additional storage devices a 750W Gold efficiency rated PSU would be best, best I could find and covered by a seven year warranty Corsair CP-9020131-NA TX Series TX750M 750W 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply

I ended up getting a new PSU and set it up today, but the crashes are still happening. When I tried playing tonight I got a crash to the desktop, a full PC reset crash, and something weird happened for the second time now. My settings in my game got randomly reset. I have different games that I’ve been crashing on in multiple different SSD’s, so it can’t be that. Maybe it’s my RAM?

i am sorry for interupting with perhaps stupid message but did you try to update graphic drivers?

What PSU have you swapped in Spox5?

Can you post a new Speccy url and upload a fresh MTB log for us.

I got an EVGA 650W N1 with a 2 year warranty because I only plan to have this PC for another year or 2. Sorry I didn’t get what you recommended, I’m kinda tight on cash right now and want to save as much as I can.

I’m busy all day today but I’ll get the speccy scan in tonight.

I also did a memtest and no errors showed up, another weird thing is that I’ve done a bunch of stress tests and it never crashes in those, but it crashes in games quite often now.

Thanks for all the help.

Fully understand but that is not a good PSU I`m afraid, eight out of eight failures at the reviews here

NB: We only make recommendations so no need to apologise for not getting the Corsair at the link.

Do the MTB log and Speccy url whenever you can spare the time, being that we are on opposite sides of the world I will most likely have retired for the night when you are just getting home.

It may or may not be the cause of the issue but you are getting low on free storage space on partition C: where Windows lives and it needs addressing asap.

1 Drive c: () (Fixed) (Total:116.9 GB) (Free:24.76 GB) NTFS You need to keep a constant 29GB free if you can, explanation as to why explained below.

For Windows to be able to run efficiently and to be able to update you need to have between 20 and 25% of the partition or drive available as free storage space at all times, if you don`t you risk Windows becoming corrupt or not being able to update which puts you at risk of malware attack.

Data only storage devices should not be allowed to get any lower than 10% of free storage space of the full capacity of the drive/partition on the drive.

Can I ask where the drivers came from for the GPU.

I got more space and I’m still crashing, probably still good to do, but don’t think it’s the problem.

The reason why I asked about from where you got the drivers is because Speccy shows that Windows has installed drivers for your video card + you have AMD driver updater in your list of scheduled updates, neither are a good thing, see my canned explanation as to why below.

It may take you some time but I suggest that you create a new system restore point, remove all AMD software from the computer using DDU, then starting with any drivers that you remember to have been stable install just the basic drivers for the card and test, if this does not help any we will help you to properly test your RAM.

NB: In case you are not already aware, Windows 10 updates are renowned for messing up peoples graphics, see some people like sanjaymachchhar at the Microsoft forums still wondering why the ... that only required re-installing a fresh copy of the graphics driver.

2019-08-04 Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. driver update for AMD Radeon (TM) R9 Fury Series
This driver was provided by Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. for
support of AMD Radeon R9 Fury Series

Advanced Micro Devices MEDIA driver update released in November
2017

Once Windows has been installed, you install the necessary drivers for the MB and other hardware and then leave well alone, drivers should not be allowed to auto update and you should never update any driver/s unless the new drivers are intended to resolve a specific issue that you are having, installing new drivers unnecessarily can actually cause you the very issues that any new drivers are intended to resolve and uninstalling the new drivers may not resolve the problem/s that installing the new drivers has caused.

Depending on priority it can take many months before the driver provider releases any fix and they sometimes do not even bother.

Any update Spox5?
Hey, just took a quick break from trying to fix my PC and I'm going camping in a couple days, I can message fromy my phone while camping but will be back trying to fix it at my PC after. I was just playing and crashed with a bluescreen that said "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR" and have a minidump for you if that helps. I'll take a closer look at your previous instructions after camping, thanks.

If you have the time do the following before you head off camping, start by testing the CPU, if it fails, post back and let us know, if the CPU passes carry out the
suggestions that were previously made regarding all AMD related software.

0x124_GenuineIntel_PROCESSOR_MAE_INTERNAL_TIMER and World of Tanks exe are both flagged up in the dmp, the first is hardware related, the second could be as a result of the same hardware issue as in a bad/overheating CPU.

Test the CPU using the Intel diagnostic tool which you can download from here

My CPU passed this test but it got up to 81 C. I’ve used DDU to uninstall my drivers before and after finishing I’ve just installed the drivers for my GPU from the Radeon website. Is there other drivers I need to get? Also since I last posted I used driver easy to get my drivers up to date.

Thanks

Any problems since you did the above.

Any update for us?
Just a couple questions. Do I have I completely reinstall windows, what does MB stand for, and how do I know what drivers I need to install? I only know about installing the GPU drivers from the website. Sorry, I’m a noob.
