Hi, as said in the title one of my 2 M2 nvme ssds is randomly not detected, neither by the bios nor the disk manager.
This happened randomly overnight, I shut down my PC with everything OK, went to sleep, and the next day my 2nd SSD is nowhere to be found, neither in the BIOS not the disk manager.
I tried :
- Replacing my (supposedly faulty) nvme by another one that I know is working: wasnt detected, even in bios
- Testing my (supposedly faulty) nvme on my laptop: not detected either
And when I finally gave up and put everthing back in place, I started my pc and it finally detected my nvme
I havent touched anything hardware-wise on my pc since a while, it litterally happened overnight
I don't really know what to get from this information, other than a random bad contact happening, I just wanted to get insight from people that know computers better than I do on what should my course of action be if I want to fix this, is my motherboard faulty/dead, do i have to change my nvme, etc...
Specs:
- OS : Windows 10 Pro
- Motherboard : ASRock B450M pro4
- CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-core 3593MHz
If you need more details, I'll provide them to you
Thank you in advance for your help
