CPU: Intel Core i5 13500 - believe it's locked at 2.5GHz
Memory: DDR4-3200 Kingston 8gb - 2 sticks (16gb)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050
Hard Drive: Kingston SNV2S500G (500gb SSD)

Rust runs great , around 100-140 fps consistently however, i'm experiencing consistent freezing every 10-30seconds the freezes last around .5-1s ... I'm having a bit of trouble identifying the issue. Any help? Let me know if you need any extra info

I also have a screenshot of my task manager when these freezes happen although it won't let me post it, essentially there is a noticeable dip in the GPU 3D Graph, CPU utilization, disk active time, and a spike in the Ethernet throughput. The memory seems unaffected during these dips and spike.
ALSO, my gpu hovers around 76-80 Celsius while playing rust.

EDIT: screwed around and got the temperatures to average around 60-70Celsius, which is a huge improvement. Still freezing, though seems less frequent then before.

P.S. I do not care about running the game to look nice I simply want it to play well w/o freezes.

ANOTHER EDIT: Just played League of Legends, an obviously less demanding game than rust, and the freezes were just as persistent...

How many peripherals do you have plugged in during gaming? Give us your complete psu spec's.

Anyways, it has 2 peripheral cables, both being used for some clunky RGB fans I didn't really want, don't believe they do a whole lot.

If you were asking about peripherals as in like mouse, keyboard etc
I have a keyboard, 1 monitor, a mouse, a headset, and an ethernet cable plugged in.

There is one thing that is possibly worse than using a known poor quality brand of PSU and that is using one that is unheard of, for brands of PSU to trust and brands to avoid please refer to the links in my sig.

You need a minimum of a 550W Gold efficiency rated PSU from the Corsair RM range, EVGA or Seasonic, anything with a seven year warranty would be ok but ten years more preferable.

Make sure that you do not have the Windows Power Plan set to High or Ultra Performance, you will end up with a burned out PC if you use anything other than the Balanced Power Plan option.

Hm, okay thanks for the help. I've been looking into it and it seems like it could possibly be a power supply issue however, im not too certain yet.

This is what happens during the freezes, the spike in the disk drive's active time graph is odd no?
 
You are welcome but can I ask that you do not quote every reply as we have to read the full post to make sure nothing gets missed,, thanks.

An unstable/weak PSU can cause power spikes.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Windows is shown to be a recent install and unfortunately it has not been done properly, see explanation below;

Once Windows has been clean installed you must then install first the MBs chipset drivers, then the storage/SATA drivers and third the graphics drivers, the drivers can either come from a disk provided by the motherboard manufacturer or downloaded from their site and saved to a flash drive etc, this is a must and Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.
