Firstly, Hello!
This is my first thread and I dunno if I'm doing it right so bare with me
Okay so, my pc randomly freezes and I can't do anything about it unless I restart it from the restart button, I've done all the tests that I could think of and nothing has solved the issue, I did a ram test and had no errors, CPU and GPU stress test and same deal no issues
The thing freezes randomly like. Some days it works just fine and doesn't freeze or anything and some other days it just doesn't wanna cooperate with me, it freezes every 5 minutes from each restart over and over and it's getting rather frustrating
Temps are good, no overheating
Fresh Windows install and all up to date and no viruses in the antivirus
My PC specs are:
Asus B85m-g motherboard (brand new cause the old one burnt out 3 months ago from memory IC failure)
i7 4790(non k)
Sapphire Rx480 8gb
4x4gb 1333 ram aka 16gb
Seagate 7200rpm 1tb drive for games and such and a 256gb Kingston SSD for the operating system
Seasonic S12ii 620watt psu
CPU has an aftermarket cooler dont remember what brand it was
And lastly Windows 10 pro 64bit

This model of PSU was first released ten years ago, how old is the unit that you have.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
 
Seasonic are seen by many as the best brand of PSU that you can get but like all other brands they are not infallible and likewise different models are intended for different types of use, a Bronze efficiency rated PSU for example is not intended for use with a high end GPU like the one that you have, you have gotten away with this because it is a Seasonic PSU and the output exceeds what the GPU requires, the PSU is now old and adding the additional screen could be putting too much load on the PSU and causing it to overheat internally.

We can see a few things in Speccy that look of and one that looks awful, the latter is Advanced SystemCare Ultimate, why on earth do you have this garbage on your computer, you will not see anything like this recommended on any reputable forum, they are at best a gimmick and at worse a danger to the operating systems registry, it is an old article but the author is still highly respected and tbh I've not seen it explained better than at the miekiemoes' Blog here

RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz

Are you overclocking the RAM, you have two sticks of 1600MHz RAM and two sticks of 1333MHz RAM, this means that the faster 1600MHz RAM should be getting auto clocked back to match the speed of the slower 1333MHz RAM, Speccy is reporting that all your RAM is running at 1600MHz, this would cause stability issues.

Will leave it at that for now until we hear back from you.

So things for my to-do list: new ram, new PSU and getting rid of iObit
To be honest, I did know about the 1333mhz slowing down my 1600 sticks but I never done anything about it
If I get two 8gb sticks 1600mhz to add up to my two 4gb 1600mhz sticks for a total of 24gb ram it should work fine right? Cause I been thinking about doing that for a while now
 
What I suggest that you do as a starting point;

Get rid of all things Iobit related.

Make sure that you have the latest chipset drivers for the MB installed, download from here

Remove the two sticks of 1333MHz RAM.

Leave the second monitor disconnected.

See how the computer behaves after doing the above.

Not sure what you mean by the above, the RAM has not been clocked back and that is what is off, have you overclocked the RAM or not!

nope i haven't overclocked anything, never did

Should I perhaps reset the CMOS?

To avoid your posts being detected as spam, can you not quote every post or add multiple posts while waiting for us to reply to your last, edit your last post to include anything that you wish to add, this will ensure nothing gets overlooked which can sometimes happen if a thread has more than one page.

Resetting the CMOS will not do any harm but only as long as you stick to the steps that were suggested in my reply #7 as well.

Aight so I've got rid of iObit completely and got BitDefender instead, also I tried to update the chipset drivers but it gave me an error I'll double check what error it is today hopefully and I will reset the cmos and remove the 1333 ram
(I work 10 hours a day and I barely have enough time to do stuff so please bare with me)

You don`t need BitDefender as Windows own Defender and Firewall are perfectly adequate and by not using third party AV you are freeing up resources and avoiding potential conflicts.

Will look out for your next reply and don`t worry, as long as you don`t leave it longer than three days to update your thread we won`t ask you for an update or close your thread.
 
Bad news :/
Thunderstorm happened and lightning struck the mains, the pc runs but very slowly.
What's with my luck these days x.x

Sorry to hear about the storm :(

If the computer is still running the chances are that it is ok, run Speccy for yourself and if all your hardware is detected it suggests that it has not been damaged.

Try letting it sit as it is overnight to see if anything changes.
 
So far seems like only my SSD was damaged cause the pc doesn't detect it always, hit or miss I shall say
If the pc detects the SSD windows boots till it freezes and when it does so the SSD won't be detected so I'ma pickup a new SSD in 4 days and see where it goes from there
 
The bummer part is, I thought I'd use my Gpd win 2 for now but turned out it's battery isn't holding a charge anymore
