any solution or ideas?

Hello

Anything happening prior to glitching that you have noticed ?
So my laptop screen flickers when I open firefox or word. But whenever I open windows setting or task manager it stops flickering. Also the flickering only happen on my laptop monitor. I just connected my laptop to another monitor and the external monitor works fine and doesn't flicker at all. It seems to always flicker when I use firefox, but it happens randomly and less often with other apps.

Seems crazy I know, I have seen this issue before due to ram try and re-seat your ram modules and see how that goes.

To add another thing to try:

Are all of the Drivers and Windows updates current? Outdated software can cause all sorts of issues.

I did that today and it didnt fix the problem.

I updated windows yesterday along with all intel drivers and graphic drivers. Not sure what other driver I should update.

Was there a lot of dust inside the machine when you removed the back cover to re-seat the ram modules. Does this happen in Safe Mode?

Can you also try with only one ram module at a time installed.

Can you post a speccy log, instructions ======> Click Here.

Please download MiniToolBox and save it to your desktop.
Run the program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator.
When the program opens check mark Select All Then hit GO
Please post the log in your next reply. Attach or copy and paste, whatever is easier for you.

Speccy Scan.

  • Please go here and download Speccy.
  • Install and run the program.
  • Upon Completion:
  • Hit File
  • Publish Snap Shot
  • A link will appear, post that link.

Have you used DDU to cleanly uninstall the graphics driver allowing a clean install? I would download the drivers before running DDU.

You are using an OS that is intended only for use at places of work or study, what this means, if you are legally entitled to have this OS your will have tech support provided via a system administrator and it is them that you should be contacting because for legal reasons tech support forums are not allowed to help, if you do not have such a system administrator it only means the one thing, the OS is installed illegally and again no tech forums can help other than to uninstall it and get a legal OS installed.

Summary
Operating System
Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit

Being that the OP revisited the forum but chose not to acknowledge my reply it suggests that the OP is knowingly using an illegal OS so this thread will be closed as per forum rules.
