Hi Everyone, I'm trying to install windows through a bootable USB but my mouse and keyboard won't work when I enter the install screen. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Thanks!

Hello

Is this a full install? Also i am assuming that the usb devices are plugged in during install?

This is before beginning the install. I just boot from the usb and get into the install windows screen and nothing works. Yees, the devices are usb and plugged in.

I plugged the usb into the black port and my keyboard/mouse into the blue ports and it worked. Thanks!

Now I have another problem. I formatted my drive but it's not letting me install windows on there. It says "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks."

What should I do here?

I always format my Drives to NTFS and don't have any issues.
I set my UEFI boot mode to legacy in the Bios first.

Sorry to interrupt lets see if this clears up any issues.

Go back into you BIOS and see if Secure Boot UEFI is turned on.

Make sure Secure Boot is on turn off.
Make sure the system is showing Legacy Boot.

Now after that reboot the system to the USB drive and when it come to this screen select custom install.

Now when you get to this screen if it look like this highlight each Disk 0 Partition and click Delete.

NOTE: If one of the Disk 0 Partitions listed here carries you personal Date (pictures documents so on) DO NOT delete it. This is why it is important to back up you personal data on to external removable drives.

Click next and follow the on screen instruction.

I just deleted the partition and now it's letting me install windows. I already backed up my personal info so I don't care if anything gets deleted.
Thanks for the advice, everyone!

You are welcome let us know if you need any other assistance.

Did you remember to get the Chipset and Proper Drives for the system?
I was just going to download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website. The default drivers should get me to that point I think.

Back up the drives and Chipset downloads as well should you have to do this again for what ever reason.

Remember to install the Chipset first then the rest in their proper order.

I noticed some of my animations are a little slow and this happens every time I format. I think it's because I'm missing a driver but I'm not sure which one.
