Hi, my laptop is HP Probook 4730s, I have a problem that occurred by itself for about a month. I put the laptop in sleep mode, after hours when I try to open, laptop isn't opening. Screen stays black and fan starts spin fast after 3 seconds later. And I hold power button, laptop turns off, again I trying boot up, same thing happening, after 4-5 tries, laptop boots up. What is the problem?

Have you tried what was suggested on the other forum and or looked into?

Might need a good cleaning and you may need to look at the power configurations.

Had this issue with a Dell once and had to replace the power switch.

There's nothing wrong with power switch. I've been searching for a long time but I couldn't find anything in other forums.

All HP systems have a Diagnostic tool that can be run (or can be ran if you wish...) on StartUp.

Just press ESC and then select Diagnostics.
See if you get anything.

What about the other things that were mentioned in Post #6
What about what @georgeks suggested
What about what you were suggested on other forums did you try Windows 10?

I formatted the laptop 2 times, just cleaned it, updated the bios and reset it, I don't think it has anything to do with the operating system, because bios doesn't even come up on screen.

You mentioned that you updated the BIOS and reset it -what do you mean by "reset" BTW?.

If something went wrong while updating the BIOS then it's no surprise the system does not even POST.
