shows this. I have no idea what this device is. when trying to update, it says windows couldn't find the drivers.

Has there been any explorer hanging, and did you get the BSOD when waking from sleep?

Yes. I just woke up earlier and turned it on to see if there would be BSOD. There haven't been explorer hanging so far thankfully. Currently, these BSODS only happen during the start, i.e after a long period of laptop being off, and don't appear throughout the day(even when I restart laptop in between).

I do not see the unknown device in the list, so just run the account profile fixer and we will go from there, at least things are looking up no more hanging and no more random BSOD only from sleep. If it does do it again after running the account fixer tool then let's hope it creates a dump file so we can see what is going on.


Edit: Are there any devices attached to the computer? Extra keyboard? External HDD Gaming mouse, or anything for that matter.?

Might want to disable Updates and Bitlocker and Edge again, those are certainly resarted under a new account that might account for the laggy feel.

I do not think you need it, it's not causing the issue so that's off the table for me.

Also these commands can be ran in elevated command prompt one at a time hitting enter after each to disable useless services that we did with an earlier FRST fix. You can do this manually.

sc config sysmain start= disabled
sc stop DiagTrack
sc config DiagTrack start= disabled
sc stop dmwappushservice
sc config dmwappushservice start= disabled
sc stop WSearch
sc config WSearch start= disabled
sc stop lfsvc

It was not started. So now we wait again, at least we have made a ton of progress the machine is running good no explorer hangup no multiple rundll running and only now down to a BSOD on wake,

So time will tell if that issue is solved, and if not let's hope it makes a dump for us to check.

Hi, I wanted to update since days ago. But PChelpforum was having an issue ? It didn't run till yesterday, tried to enter with rpoxy as well but it didn't load. It started to give origin host something error yesterday. I just woke up and checked the site(1st thing I do every morning these days) and its running now.
The explorer hanging issue is no longer there.
but BSOD is happening every other day. It occurred yesterday, but didn't occur now (just started). There is still no dump file created.
