I recently built my own pc with all new parts and i got it to boot to the BIOS, when i was there i realised that all my SATA information was showing N/A. I installed a 2TB HDD and a 128GB M.2 SSD into my ASUS PRIME B450-plus motherboard and made sure the cords were connected securely. I put in my M.2 SSD into its only slot and connected my HDD to my PSU and SATA6g_5 on my MOBO. Why do neither of them show up in my BIOS?

Assuming you're using Windows 10???

Go to control panel, administrative tools, computer management, disk management, and see if they are listed there?

Sorry i should have mentioned this before, I haven't installed an OS yet. I'm just looking to make sure my mobo recognizes all of my parts and i noticed that it doesnt recognise my HDD or SSD since they are not under my SATA information.

How can I install my OS if my mobo doesnt recognise my SSD or HDD. Doesnt it install onto one of those
