also the RGB on the graphics card is changing now, where it was permanently stuck on a magenta before
 
I'm using about a terabyte of the hdd just for backups, so I'll go ahead and do that. I don't know why it seems to be working now, usually, I could get the games to work for a little, but the issues would start after the computer started freezing or if it got shut down, so I'm not sure if it will stay working. One thing is that the taskbar was white previously, but now it's the transparent grey, I changed nothing about it and even used the same usb drive to install windows
 
I have no idea. I hope it's fine now. The only thing I did that really should have helped is updating the chipset drivers and the other motherboard-related drivers. This isn't the first time it all seemed fine for a while though
 
Different drive. the SSD is for windows and some applications, and the HDD has 2 partitions, 1 terabyte for backups, which I transfer to an external hard drive, and 2 terabytes for other storage
 
Yeah. I'll keep an eye on it, but I won't be using it much myself. Thank you for the help
